About the Mission:

An American hero has passed and the family has requested the participation of Patriot Guard Riders in rendering honors for him.  Henry R. "Hub" Brown, age 78, of Tavares, FL passed on February 19, 2024.

Henry proudly served our country in the US Navy, enlisting on June 30, 1965 and honorably discharged on June 27, 1969.  He continued to serve in the Army Reserve until 1985.
Henry served two tours of duty in Vietnam in Aircraft Systems Maintenance, including a tour on the supercarrier USS Forrestal CVA-59). For his service, Henry received a Navy Unit Commendation Medal, the National Service Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with two Bronze Campaign Stars and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal.

Henry and his wife Pat were both active PGR members. Henry's wife Pat passed 2 months and 10 days after him, and they will be interred together at Bath National Cemetery. The obituary can be found online by clicking here

Special Information:

Stage at the Bath American Legion with anticipated KSU of 12:15 for short ride to Bath National Cemetery. Park in the cemetery at the flag pole, top of cemetery hill. For those who wish, stage at the cemetery flag pole NLT 12:30pm.  We will proceed to the interment shelter, assemble the flag line in preparation for the arrival of the family.  The family has invited PGR to the Methodist Church, 3 West Washington Street, Bath following the funeral service.
