About the Mission:
The family of George K. Elbel has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in his military honors funeral services. Mr. Elbel passed on May 16 2024 at the age of 91.
Born in Rossiter, PA, Mr. Elbel entered the US Army at the age of 21 and was attached to the 545th 1st Cavalry Division, Military Police, during the Korean War. He was honorably discharged in 1956, and continued serving his country by becoming a New York State Trooper. He retired after 32 years of dedicated service and duty at Batavia Troop A Barracks, as Major in charge of eight counties in Western NY.

Special Information:
Members will form a flag line for our hero and family. After the funeral service, members will escort Mr. Elbel and family to Grandview Cemetery, 90 Clinton St., Batavia, NY 14020 for interment with military honors. There are several missions this week, so please do what you can to support them.
