About the Mission:
The family of WW-II Veteran Frank C. DeCarlo has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in honoring his life and service. Mr. DeCarlo passed away 26 April 2023 at the age of 97.
Mr. DeCarlo served our nation for over 2 years on active duty in the US Army Infantry from 1944-1946, with an MOS of 745-Army Rifleman. He had 19 months of service in the European Theater of Operations from November,1944 through May, 1946 in France, Germany and Austria. He was assigned to the 264th Infantry Regiment, 66th Infantry Division, and participated in the Northern France Campaign. Mr. DeCarlo was wounded in action against the enemy (date TBD), and he was honorably discharged from active duty on 13 June 1946 with the rank of Private First Class. Mr. DeCarlo earned the following awards: Purple Heart Medal; Army Good Conduct Medal; American Campaign Medal; European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal w/1 Campain Star, WW-II Victory Medal; and M-1 Rifle Sharpshooter Qualification Badge.

Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
PGR will provide a respectful flagline for arrival of the family and friends. The Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 10:00 AM. Following the Mass and dignified transfer, PGR will escort to Lakeside Cemetery, 4810 Camp Rd, Hamburg, NY 14075 for interment with Military Honors. Click here for map to cemetery
