About the Mission:
The family of American Hero Ernest Longo has requested PGR presence to honor his life and service to our country during the calling hours, and funeral service with military honors. Ernest, 93, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on December 21, 2022 at Buffalo General Hospital.
Born in Niagara Falls, NY, Ernest served proudly in the United States Army from 1946 as part of the Japan Occupation Forces, until his honorable discharge in 1950. Ernie was employed as a Sheriff’s Deputy with the Niagara County Sheriff’s Department for 38 years, retiring in the early 1990’s. For the past few years, Ernie volunteered at Our Lady of Peace and at Mount St. Mary’s Hospital.

Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
Calling Hours are from 10am - 12:00 pm, with a service including military honors at 12:00 pm. Private interment by the family. Please arrive on time with an American or US Army flag and dress for the weather.
