About the Mission:
The family of Edward F. Lavocat has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in his military honors funeral services. Mr. Lavocat passed on May 17, 2024 at the age of 93.
Mr. Lavocat served our nation from march of 1952 to December of 1953, including 1 year and 20 days in Korea. Honorably discharged in December of 1953, Mr. Lavocat received Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Medal with 3 Bronze Stars and the United Nations Service Medal.

Members will form a flag line for arriving family for a short mass. With a dignified transfer, PGR members will escort our hero and family to St. Pius Church, 1700 North French Road for Mass of Christian Burial, followed by entombment at Queen Of Heaven Cemetery. Make sure your flags are secure. It's a busy week do what you can to support our Heroes.
