About the Mission:
The family of Purple Heart recipient Earnest James Moore has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors funeral services. Mr. Moore passed on 10 December 2024 at the age of 74 with his family by his side.
Mr. Moore served his nation 14 months active duty, including a 9 month tour of duty in Vietnam. He was honorably discharged in Oakland California on 18 March 1970. For his service to our nation, Mr. Moore was awarded; Purple Heart Medal, Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal and a Combat Infantryman Badge.

Members will stand a flag line for arriving guests and family. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 am, followed by dignified transfer and escort to Forest Lawn Cemetery. Thank you for standing for our hero.
