About the Mission:
The family of Donald J. Saam has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in his military honors funeral services. Donald, 91, formerly of Hornell, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2024 at his home in Fayetteville, NC.
Born April 11, 1933 in Hornell, NY, Donald entered the US Air Force in 1952 during the Korean War. He went on to serve for 20 years, including an assignment in Japan, until his honorable discharge in 1972.

Special Information:
Please support Acting Ride Captain Roy Randall in honoring Donald J. Samm and his family. About 200 yards from the church is a parking area for overflow / bikes. Please seek this out as best you can leaving room for family close to the church. Members will stand a flag line for the arrival of family and friends beginning at 8:30 am. Service will commence at 9:00 am and last about one hour. After the service we will stand for the dignified transfer from the church and escort to St. Mary’s Cemetery, Town of Fremont, about 5 miles away. Once again, at the cemetery members will stand for the dignified transfer and the military honors ceremony..
