About the Mission:
The family of Deacon Thomas M. Forcucci has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in honoring his life and service. Deacon Forcucci of South Buffalo, NY passed away on 14 December 2023.
Cold War Veteran Forcucci served our nation for 2 years on active duty in the US Army Field Artillery Branch from 1955-1957, with an Army MOS of 211.10-Field Artillery Radar Crewman. He had 17 months of foreign duty in Germany, assigned to a Field Artillery Unit (TBD) in Germany. Deacon Forcucci was honorably discharged from active duty on 9 April 1957 with the rank of Private First Class, and he earned the Cold War Service Commemorative Medal.

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
PGR will provide a respectful flag line for arrival of the family and guests. The Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 9:30 AM. Following Mass and the dignified transfer, PGR will provide an escort to Holy Cross Cemetery, 2900 South Park Avenue (Rt. 62), Lackawanna, NY 14218 for interment with Military Honors.
