About the Mission:
The family of Cornelius J. Curtin III has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in his military honors funeral services. Mr. Curtin passed on 5 October 2024 at the age of 81 with family at his side.
Born in Buffalo, NY on 9 April 1943, Mr. Curtin joined the Air Force on 22 February 1962. He served our nation with the 628th Air Force Wing in South Carolina for 4 years as a Radio Repairman. He was honorably discharged at the rank of Airman First Class on 11 February 1966. For his service, he was awarded an Air Force Commendation Medal, Air Force Good Conduct Medal and National Defense Service Medal. Mr. Curtin was a lifelong member of American Legion Post #880 in Eden, NY.

Special Information:
Members will form a flag line for arriving family and guests. After the funeral service and dignified transfer, members will escort our hero and family to Evergreen Cemetery, 2870 East Church St., for interment with military honors. Thank you for standing for Mr. Curtin.
