About the Mission:

The family of proud United States Marine and Patriot Guard Riders member Conley J. "Jay" Marsh has requested Patriot Guard Riders to help celebrate his life and service. Jay passed away December 10th, 2022, after a long illness.

Born in Medina, NY, Jay served our country proudly in Vietnam as a US Marine from 1968-70.  He was a combat veteran who was honorably discharged from the Marines, and for his service, was awarded the Combat Action Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal w/1 Bronze Star and the Vietnam Campaign Medal w/60 device.

Jay was an avid member of Patriot Guard Riders for many years, honoring those that had served when their time came. He was a friend to all that knew him.  Jay retired as an over the road truck driver after 35 years of service. In his free time, he enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson trike to wherever he could and spending time with family and friends.

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Special Information:

Friday 3/24 visitation from 5-8, no flagline.  Saturday 3/25 Flagline @ 10:00 SHARP! Clean American flag or Marine flag, Dress for the weather, Service @ 11:00 with an escort to follow to Corwin Cemetery, 3211 Lockport Olcott Rd. (Rt.78), Newfane, NY 14108.
