About the Mission:
The family of Clyde L. Hamilton has requested that PGR members participate in honor of his service to us all, and celebrating his life at calling hours and services. Mr. Hamilton passed away passed away 30 April 2024 at the age of 85.
Mr. Hamilton was a US Army, Cold War Era veteran. He served nine months of active duty during 1957. Mr. Hamilton received an honorable discharge on 30 September 1957 and completed his reserve obligation on 03 January 1963. Mr. Hamilton served as a Private Second Class (Pvt-2, E-2) with an MOS: 563.10 (current MOS 61F), Marine Hull Repairman. Mr. Hamilton served in the 329th Transportation Company (Heavy Boat) at Fort Eustis, Newport News Virginia.
Mr. Hamilton was also a lifetime member of ABATE NY and an avid motorcycle rider. His obituary may be viewed online by clicking here

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
Staging is at 11:00am at the funeral home. PGR members will create a flag line for the arrival of the family (expected at 11:30am). We will hold the flag line until the end of calling hours at 3:00pm. At 3:00pm, there will be a service at the funeral home followed, at 3:30pm, by military honors. PGR members will participate in the military honors following services. There is no escort and no cemetery involved in this mission.
These are substantial calling hours. If your time is limited, please arrive at any point and participate as you are able. Please come prepared with a clean US or Army flag. Dress for the weather; the current forecast is for temperatures in the upper 50s and a chance of rain showers.
Please note, there are two Region 2 PGR NY Honor Missions Saturday. Please do what you can to participate in one or both missions.
