About the Mission:
The family of Clyde DeGroff has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in honoring his service to our nation. Mr. DeGroff passed away peacefully on June 29. 2023 at his home in Bancroft Wisconsin. Born in Ellicottville NY, Mr. DeGroff joined the Army after completion of school, and served from 1959 to 1961 as a Supply Specialist at Fort Lewis, Washington. He earned the rank of Private First Class (E-3).

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
Members will form a flag line for arrival of family and friends. After a short service, members will escort Mr. DeGroff to Western New York National Cemetery for interment with military honors. It's that time of year for the bikes, be careful and be safe.
