About the Mission:

The family of Charles L. Blake has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in his funeral services. Mr. Blake passed on May 20, 2024 at the age of 64.

Mr. Blake was born in Girdle Tree, Maryland and, after graduating from Snow Hill High School, entered in the US Marine Corps.  He served our country from August 29, 1977 to August 28, 1981 as a Field Radio Operator with the 3rd Batallion, 10th Marines, 2nd Marine Division.  His active duty time included 11 months 25 days of Sea Service. He was honorably discharged at the rank of Corporal, and for his service was awarded the Good Conduct Medal and Rifle Expert Badge. Mr. Blake's interment will be in Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery, Hurlock, Maryland.
