About the Mission:
Patriot Guard Riders has been requested to participate in honoring the life and service of Carey Arnez Owens of Buffalo, NY who passed away on 19 December 2022.
Military service details are limited at this time. However we have confirmation that Mr. Owens served honorably on active duty in the US Navy from 10 April 1945 to 4 July 1946. It is unconfirmed at this point that he also served during the Korean War.

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
Important Note: It is assumed that interment will take place in the Field of Valor. Please watch for any updates in the event that the location changes. PGR will stand by with a respectful flag line for arrival of the cortege from the funeral home, for interment with Military Honors. Please arrive with a clean 3x5 American or US Navy flag, and dress for the weather.
