About the Mission:
The family of Bruce M. Lobsinger has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in honoring his life and service. Mr. Lobsinger of Williamsville, NY passed away on 24 August 2023.
Mr. Lobsinger served our nation for 1 year, 7 months on active duty in the US Army from 1971-1972, with an Army MOS of 91B20-Medical Specialist. He had 13 months of foreign service in South Korea, assigned to Headquarters Company, 2nd Medical Battalion, 2nd Infantry Division, US Army Pacific. Mr. Lobsinger was honorably discharged from active duty on 9 September 1972 with the rank of Sergeant (E-5), and he earned the National Defense Service Medal and Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal.

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
PGR will provide a respectful flag line for arrival of the family, and during the visitation hours from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM. The memorial service and PGR Honors will begin at 12:00 PM. There is no escort or cemetery involved in this Mission.
Please be prepared with a clean 3x5 American or US Army flag, and dress for the weather. Thank you for devoting any amount of time that you're able to honor the US Army service of Bruce M. Lobsinger, and to support his loving family.
