About the Mission:

The family of Bruce F. Storke has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in honoring his service to us all and celebrating his life. Mr. Storke passed away 23 August 2023 at the age of 87.

Mr. Storke was a US Army veteran who served two years active duty, 1958-1960. Of those years he spent one year and one month of foreign duty in South Korea. He achieved the rank of Specialist Four (SP4, E-4) with an MOS: 711.10, Clerk Typist. Specialist Four Storke's final assignment was with the Civil Affairs School, Fort Gordon, Georgia.  Upon finishing his active duty tour, SP4 Storke transferred to the US Army Reserves, serving four years. He was honorably discharged 31 May 1964.  SP4 Storke earned: US Army Good Conduct Medal.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Special Information:

PGR members will form a flag line for the final hour of calling hours. Services are expected to begin at 1:00pm and last for approximately 45 minutes. Following the services inside the funeral home, there will be military honors outside. PGR members will perform a dignified transfer to the portico and participate in the military honors.

Please be prepared with a clean 3x5 American or US Army flag, and dress for the weather. The current forecast is for sunny conditions with temperatures in the low 80s.
