About the Mission:
The family of Brent W. Coryer has requested PGR Members participation in honoring his service and celebrating his life. Mr. Coryer passed away April 8, 2024, at the age of 79.
Mr. Coryer was a US Navy veteran, serving three years between 1963 and 1966. In that time he achieved the rank of Petty Officer Third Class (PO3, E-4) with a rating of Storekeeper (SK). He served aboard the USS Norton Sound, a Currituck - Class Seaplane Tender. Mr Coryer was honorable discharged 13 September 1966.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
PGR members will form a flag line for the arrival of family and mourners at approximately 10:00 am, until the funeral mass begins at 10:30 am. Following the funeral mass, PGR members will participate in rendering military honors in the parking lot of the church. There is no escort or cemetery during this mission.
Please be prepared with a clean 3x5 American or US Navy flag and dress for the weather. Thank you for devoting your time to help honor the US Navy service of Brent W. Coryer and to support his loving family.
