About the Mission:
Patriot Guard Riders of NY has been requested to stand in honor of the life and service of Korean War Veteran Bernard A. Frati of Rochester, NY, who passed away on 11 July 2022.
Mr. Frati served our nation for 2-1/2 years on active duty in the US Army from 1948-1951, with an Army MOS of 4745-Light Machine Gunner or Crewman. He served 10-1/2 months in South Korea, assigned to Company C, 32nd Infantry Regiment. Mr. Frati was honorably discharged from active duty on 4 September 1951 with the rank of Corporal (E-4), and he earned the following awards: Army Combat Infantryman Badge; National Defense Service Medal; Korean Service Medal w/3 Bronze Service Stars; United Nations Service Medal (Korea), and Korean War Service Medal.

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: NYS Guidelines of 2 March 2022, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
PGR will provide a respectful flag line for arrival of the family, and during the calling hours from 4:00-6:00 PM.
A funeral service and Military Honors is scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM.
There is no escort or cemetery involved in this Mission.
Please arrive with a clean 3x5 American or US Army flag, and dress for the weather.
