About the Mission:
Patriot Guard Riders has been requested to stand in honor of the life and service of Arthur Rush, who passed away as a result of an automobile accident on 3 October 2022.
Mr. Rush served our nation for 2 years on active duty in the US Army from 1962-1964, with an Army MOS of 631.10-Light Vehicle Mechanic. He had 10 months of foreign service in Germany, assigned to the 552nd Engineer Company, 11th Engineer Group, Seventh US Army. Mr. Rush was honorably discharged from active duty on 3 September 1964 with the rank of Private First Class (E-3), and he earned the National Defense Service Medal, Cold War Service Medal, and M-14 Rifle Sharpshooter Badge.

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
PGR will standby with a respectful flag line for arrival of the funeral director and family. KSU at 9:35 AM for the escort to WNY National Cemetery,1254 Indian Falls Road, Corfu, NY 14036 for the 10:00 AM interment with Military Honors. Please be prepared with a clean 3x5 American or US Army flag, dress for the weather, and ensure your large flags are securely attached.
