About the Mission:
The family of Vietnam Veteran Allen J. Kusmierz has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in his funeral service with military honors. Mr. Kusmierz passed on July 8, 2024 at the age of 76 with family by his side.
He entered the Army on January 16, 1967 at the age of 19 and served our nation for 1yr 11months 23 days, including 11months 8 days in Vietnam with the 1st Air Cav as an Infantryman (MOS 11B40). Mr. Kusmierz was Honorably Discharged on January 8, 1969 and earned the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal and Infantryman Badge.

Special Information:
Members will form a flag line for arriving family and guests. Military honors will be conducted at 1:00 pm. There is no cemetery or escort. Temps will be in the 80s, drink plenty of fluids and take a break when needed. Thank you for standing for our hero.
