About the Mission:

The family of Vietnam Veteran Allen F. Sauter has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his Military Honors funeral services. Mr. Sauter passed 11 October 2025 at the age of 75. He entered the Army on 31 July 1967, serving his nation 32 months including 18 months tour of duty in Vietnam. Mr. Sauter was trained as a Fire Fighter (51N20) at Fort Rucker Alabama. After his training he was sent to Vietnam attached to the 282nd Aviation Company (Assault Helicopters) Marble Mountain Air Facility, Da Nang Vietnam. Mr. Sauter was honorably discharged at Fort Lewis Washington on 1 April 1970. For his service to his nation, Mr. Sauter was awarded, Army Air Medal w/V Device and Numeral 8, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal w/Silver Star, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal w/ 1960 Device, Expert Rifle Badge (M-16), Expert Pistol Badge (45).

Special Information:

PGR will stand a flag line for arriving family and guests. After visitation and dignified transfer, members will escort the family and their hero to Mount Calvary Cemetery for Military Honors and interment. Please dress for the weather.

Please park near St. Matthews, Lot 398, Section 20 at Mount Calvary Cemetery. PGR will stand a flag line for arriving cortege. After dignified transfer, Military Honors will be conducted. Thank you for standing for our hero. Dress for the weather.
