About the Mission:
The family of Adam J. "AJ" Gozdan has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in honoring his life and service. Mr. Gozdan of South Buffalo, NY passed away on 7 August 2023.
Mr. Gozdan served our nation for 13 months on active duty in the US Army from 2007-2008, with an Army MOS of 92G10-Food Service Operations. He had 8 months of foreign service (location TBD), and he was honorably discharged on 31 May 2008 with the rank of Private (E-1.) Mr. Gozdan earned the following awards: National Defense Service Medal; Global War on Terrorism Service Medal; Korean Defense Service Medal; and Army Service Ribbon.

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
PGR will provide a respectful flag line during the 2nd half of calling hours from 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM, and for the funeral service with military Honors at 6:30 PM.
There is no escort or cemetery involved in this Mission. Please arrive with a clean 3x5 American or US Army flag, and dress for the weather.
