About the Mission:
Patriot Guard Riders of New York has been requested to stand for active duty US Marine Austin Ferner. Austin passed on 19 August 2024 in Cherry Point, NC.
We have few details about the arrangements at this time, but it is anticipated that we will meet at the airport to perform a dignified transfer. Our hero will be transported to Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home in Waterville, NY, a distance of about 140 miles. An escort is not anticipated at this time, and updates will follow regarding a possible flag line and dignified transfer at the funeral home.
