About the Mission:

This mission is a memorial and remembrance for three of our dear friends and brother PGR Ride Captains who we lost way too soon: Terry Garigen, William (Patch) Fuhrmann and Joe Joyce. It includes an honorable ride and will end with food, and a special raffle.  The funds raised from this event will go directly to PGR to be used for future veterans needs.

Please read the details of the event provided here by Bruce Forsyth;

• Registration begins at 9:00am and goes until 10:30am.
• Remember, get there early to get in on the commemorative wristbands. Each of the first two hundred paid registrations get the commemorative band.
• At registration you will also receive your dinner ticket for food at the end of the run. Tuck that away in a safe place.
• At 10:45am there will be a safety briefing followed by a ride blessing.
• KSU at 11:00am for the first leg of the journey. First leg is guided by police and rolls out as a group. The route takes the "back way" from the Moose Lodge to Stan's Harley Davidson in Batavia.
• At Stan's there will be hotdogs and drinks available for sale. Additionally, Stan's is holding a Swap Meet that day Click here to visit the website. So if parts are what you need, you might find them while enjoying the day with PGR.
• After getting a drink, some eats, perusing the parts, and drooling over bikes at Stan's, the next leg of the ride beckons. Self-guided, grab a few of your friends and hit those off-the-main paths to make your way to Botts Fiorito American Legion Post #576 in LeRoy Click here to visit their Facebook page (You must have an account to view). The Legion members will have the Welcome mat rolled out and refreshments available. Also, there is a secret. The secret only happens at the LeRoy American Legion. Don't pass on the chance to learn the secret first-hand.
• Once more climb aboard the iron horse, steel steed, or whatever conveyance got you this far. Circle up those friends and hit the two lanes for the picturesque ride/drive to the Moose Club for the final act of the 2023 Honor Run.
• Back at the Moose Lodge, food will start to be served at about 3:00pm. Don't rush though. There will be short presentations about the Honorees and the drawing of the 50/50 Raffle starting about 2:45pm. It is all about the fellowship at this final stop of the Honor Run.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Updated 8 March 2022

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Special Information:

Arrive early for breakfast refreshments and wrist bands. Display your large flags on your bikes and dress for the weather which may involve some brief precipitation. Looking forward to a meaningful and fun PGR event.
