| About the Mission: | Joseph Carpenter served his nation proudly in the United States Navy. Joe trained at the United States Navy Fighter Weapons School with many hours of advanced training including Survival, Evasion, Resistance & Escape (SERE School). Joe attained the rank of Petty Officer 2nd Class as an NCO and received many commendations including the National Defense Medal, 45 ACP Marksmanship Award, the Meritorious Unit Commendation Medal and the Battle “E” Award. Joe’s last duty station was Miramar, California. A full obituary is available for viewing online by clicking here This mission is to take Joe via Patriot Guard Riders Pony Express from Arizona to his final resting place in New York. It is our honor to stand in silent reverence as we show respect and gratitude to this hero for his service and the sacrifices he made for this nation |
