Dear Mr. Plyter and Ride Captains,
Please accept my heartfelt gratitude for you and all the Patriot Guard Riders for your strong show of support for our fallen hometown hero, Sgt. Devin Snyder. Your presence throughout this past week was a source of comfort and pride for me. This afternoon, when Devin was laid to rest at the Cohocton cemetery, the sight of your group silhouetted against the horizon for the entire perimeter of the cemetery was amazing. Seeing you there against the skyline, I couldn’t help but envision the spirits of all the warriors
who have given their lives for this great country looking down from above, protecting Devin’s last moments on Earth and guiding her to her new eternity in heaven.
My sincere thank you to each and every one of the Riders, and may God bless you all.
