Following the ceremony of the "Reading of the Names" of the fallen from New York.
Where do I begin to give Thanks, Today was a very emotional day. A day we honored and remembered our Sons, Daughters, Husbands, Wives, Mothers and Fathers who paid the ultimate sacrifice to protect our FREEDOM and this great Nation. I would like to THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart to my fellow Patriot Guard Rider members, Nam Knights, Family, friends, Gold/Blue Star Moms and Veterans.
When I lost my son you were there, When I needed a friend, you were there. Today you were there, I know some of you came from near and far, but you took time out from your jobs, your families, from your busy schedule to be there for us. You can't even imagine what this means to me. I am and always will be truly grateful.
We must never forget the cost and why we do this. As a mother who gave all, I will never forget, I will always Honor and Remember their willingness to give of them selves with no questions asked.
