Carl W. Hoage

Sept. 8, 2010

Hi, my name is Eric Hoage. I can't begin to tell you how I feel about the ride for my dad, Carl W. Hoage. What the LEO's and many others did for him on Sept. 7 was truly a blessing in the sky for my father. I, myself, rode my Dad's bike behind him to his resting place, with my son in his sidecar. Coming up to the funeral home and seeing all the guys standing there in front waiting to bring my dad home made me cry so dear. But when we left and the bikes took off, then dad,

then me and 4 close buddies of his on bikes, just watching them all turn the corner was an amazing sight. It gave me true joy seeing my father go to his final resting place the way he wanted. There were over 50 bikes from all over. Past friends to new ones. You guys are the best. I miss my dad but I know he is one happy guy for what everyone did. I am writing this crying but from joy of happiness that you have given a biker that loves to ride and given to kids. I would say my dad gave rides for kids, close to 100k, in the last 20 years or more and I am planning on doing it next year in his place with his bike.
