About the Mission:

In conjunction with Shootout for Soldiers, the Long Island Air Force Association has invited Patriot Guard Riders to attend the Vietnam Anniversary Commemorative Medal Ceremony honoring resident Vietnam Veterans with medals. The Veterans' Ceremony is scheduled to begin at 5 PM.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Updated 8 March 2022

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: NYS Guidelines of 2 March 2022, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Special Information:

Please stage at the park by 4:30 PM - Ride Captain Rich Schiraldi will provide instructions.  *Event begins promptly at 5 PM - Shootout tournament starts at 6 PM sharp.  We will stand a flag line for the opening and closing of the Medal Ceremony.
