About the Mission:

This veteran honorably served his country, deploying to Korea. He was assigned to 1745 COL, 31st Infantry Regiment and attained a rank of Private 1st class prior to his separation from active duty. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Medal and United Nations Service Medal. He is past Commander of American Legion Post 432 in Port Jefferson, NY. The family has asked Patriot Guard Riders to stand for their loved one as they are quite familiar with the honor and respect that we give to veterans and families.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Special Information:

After the family has a last viewing, there will be a dignified transfer and escort to St. John the Baptist church, 1488 N. Country Rd., Wading River, for a 10:30 am mass. After mass, there will be an escort to Calverton National Cemetery, RC Mike will have extra flags if needed.
