About the Mission:
Mr. Gefken honorably served his country from 1965 to 1967 with Company C 2nd Bn 17th Inf (mech) Eighth Army attaining the rank of Sergeant. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal. The family has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to stand and honor him.

Meet RC Byrne at the funeral home with your flags to escort this hero to Saint Bernard RC Church, 3100 Hempstead Turnpike, Levittown, NY for an 11 am mass. After a dignified transfer, the escort will proceed to Pinelawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Farmingdale.
