About the Mission: Arthur W. Bonné faithfully and honorably executed his duties to our nation in the US Army Air Forces, having enlisted on 2 October 1942 until his honorable discharge as T/Sgt on 11 February 1946.  As a young boy, he taught himself Morse Code, and when the Army learned this they immediately sent him off to Scott Field Radio School where he learned to serve as Comm Tech (542.)

Patriot Guard Riders participated in a 100th Birthday Celebration for Mr. Bonné in March 2021.
His family asks that PGR participate in this WWII Hero's final honors at Calverton National Cemetery.

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: NYS Guidelines of 2 March 2022, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Special Information: Stage in parking lot across from funeral home - there may or may not be another funeral at the time.
Family to meet PGR with Honoree's cremains, and that of Mrs. Bonné, for escort to Calverton National Cemetery.  KSU 9:20AM. No hearse will travel with us.
