About the Mission:

Colin J. Colquhoun, a resident of Beacon, NY, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 8, 2022 at the Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh, NY.  He was 70 years old. Colin proudly served in the United States Army from August 1970 and was honorably discharged in March 1972. He worked for many years at the VA Hudson Valley Health Care Medical Center Castle Point Campus, Wappingers Falls, NY.   He was a beloved maintenance worker; a simple man.

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: NYS Guidelines of 2 March 2022, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.


Special Information:

Colin J. Colquhoun has no immediate family in the area - they will attend via Zoom. His coworker/friends will stand to honor his life and military service.  Patriot Guard Riders will escort Colin from the Libby Funeral Home to the Wappingers Falls Rural Cemetery.

A Graveside Service to honor his life and military service is planned for 11:30 am, Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at the Wappingers Falls Rural Cemetery, 174-208 W. Main Street, Wappingers Falls, NY. The United States Army Honor Guard will conduct military honors,
