About the Mission:
We have been requested by the family of Richard F. Meyer to participate in his military honors funeral services.
Richard was a US Army veteran who served honorably during the Korean Conflict (Co. 7th Inf Div). He received a Combat Infantry Badge, Presidential Unit Citation (Korea), and the Korean Service Medal w/ 3 Bronze Service Stars. He was honorably discharged as Sergeant First Class in 1953 and started his family. He felt fortunate to be honored in 2017 by the Honor Flight in Washington DC.
Richard was the father-in-law of our own PGRNY R4 member Dave Alling.

Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
We will stage quietly during the calling hours. Present flag line for dignified transfer followed by an escort to Saratoga National Cemetery for an 11:30 a.m. shelter service.
