About the Mission:

We have been requested by the family of Paul W. Burlett to participate in his military honors funeral services.  Paul, 68, passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at Glens Falls Hospital after a long illness and COVID-19 complications.

Born in Glens Falls, Paul graduated from Hudson Falls High School in 1972.  Before graduating, he signed up on the buddy system, entered the US Marine Corps on 24 August 1972, and was trained as a Machine Gunner (0331).  He completed 4 years of active duty service, including one year of foreign service, and was honorably discharged on 18 October 1978.  For his service, Paul was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal and Rifle Expert Badge.

After the service, Paul worked at Albany Public Market in Glens Falls, then VT and Lake George maintaining houseboats. He also worked in the construction field for many years.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: NYS Guidelines of 2 March 2022, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Special Information:

We will stage for the dignified transfer and then provide an escort to Saratoga National Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. service.
