The family of John W. "Jack" Burdick, jr. has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in his military honors funeral services. John, a lifelong resident of Town of Brunswick, died suddenly, Monday, August 29, 2022 at his Center Brunswick home following a short illness.

Born in the Troy, Jack was a graduate of Tamarac High School. After graduation, he enlisted in the US Navy and served a total of 3 years and 3 months during the Vietnam War. For over 42 years, Jack was employed by the Lydall-Manning Company in Green Island. After starting as a production worker and later as a stock clerk, he worked his way through the ranks and earned the position of Inventory Control Specialist at the time of his retirement in 2013. For several years he was a member of the Center Brunswick United Methodist Church.
