About the Mission:
Patriot Guard Riders has been invited to participate in the military honors funeral services of John J. Conti. John, 74, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 5, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family.
Born in Glens Falls, John graduated from South Glens Falls High School, and then proudly served his country in the United States Army as a Green Beret in the 101st Airborne Division, serving two tours of duty in Vietnam.
John was employed by Security Supply as a driver for over 20 years. He also continued serving his community as a South Glens Falls police officer. John was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. He camped for many years at the Queen Village Campground in Warrensburg where he made many friends.

Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
We will stage a flagline for the dignified transfer and then provide an escort to Saratoga National Cemetery for a 10:00 am service.

Note that there is a new staging protocol for Saratoga National Cemetery. PGR members will stage by parking ONLY on the right side of the roadway near Section 21. If that area is full, the overflow parking area will be on the right side of the roadway near Interment Shelter 1. Please park as closely together as possible.
