| About the Mission: | We have been requested by the family of Gary Thompson to participate in his military honors funeral services. Gary, 74, passed away on Friday, February 11, 2022 at Glens Falls Hospital. Born in Glens Falls, NY, Gary graduated from Glens Falls High School in 1965. He then went on to learn the heating and air-conditioning trade. Gary was proud to serve from November 1966 to November 1968 with the Army as a SP4. He was a long time employee of Verizon Telephone as a SARTS Tester. He also was employed by General Electric for several years. He spent many years volunteering with the Queensbury Central Fire Department. Gary was also a member of the American Legion. A full obituary is available for viewing online by clicking here |

Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters. |
| Special Information: | We will stage at Stewarts Shop since there is no funeral home involvement. We will escort the family to St. Alphonsus/St. Mary’s Cemetery, Luzerne Rd., Queensbury, NY 12804 for a 10:30 service. I have been requested by the wife to carry him on his last ride. |
