About the Mission:

Patriot Guard Riders has been requested by the family of Earl L. Clark to participate in his military honors funeral services. Earl, 90, passed on Thursday, December 8, 2022, at Glens Falls Hospital.

After attending high school, Earl joined the US Navy to proudly serve his country during the Korean War from 1950-1953. During this time, he served on the USS Robert L. Wilson, a Gearing-class destroyer in the Mediterranean Sea. He retired as a 1st Class Petty Officer, and for his service, was awarded the Navy Occupation Service Medal (European Clasp).

Upon his return home, Earl worked at Glens Falls Fire Department, serving his community for 22 years on Broad Street and Ridge Street as an “A” Platoon.  After retirement, he went on to work at Glens Falls Clinical Lab as a courier, driving 300 miles daily and then worked at Binley’s Florist. He was an executive board member for UCT (United Commercial Travels of America) and loved to travel and attend conventions.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.


Special Information:

Members will stage at the funeral home with a flag line for the last hour of visitation between 10:00 and 11:00 am.  Escort to Saratoga National Cemetery will follow the 11:00 am funeral service.
