| About the Mission: | The family of Douglas E. Milks has requested Patriot Guard Rider participation in his military honors funeral services. Douglas, 69, passed on February 4, 2021. Doug was born in Troy and raised in Pittstown. He was a graduate of Tamarac High School, class of '69. He entered the US Army on 21 January 1971 and served as an Infantryman (MOS 11B40). He was honorably discharged at the rank of Sergeant (E-5) on 20 October 1972, and for his service was awarded the National Defense Service Medal. Doug worked for the Municipality of Briarcliff Manor in Westchester County until his retirement, when he returned to the Brunswick area.
