About the Mission:
Patriot Guard Riders has been invited to attend the dedication of a special tribute area in the Westerlo Town Park. This area was named Veterans' Garden and is a tribute to all those who have and are currently serving our country in the armed forces. The area features an American Flag, a flag for every branch of the military, a 10' granite monument, a POW/MIA monument and a Battlefield Cross.
The event is a dedication ceremony to this newly installed tribute area and in addition, the Westerlo Town Board voted to re-name our park as the Town of Westerlo Veterans' Memorial Park. The park will be rededicated at this time as well. The Delmar Village Volunteers Fife and Drum Corps will be performing and the keynote speaker is Marine Corporal Luke McDermott.

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
Staging at the Town park with a flag line for the ceremony which begins at 2:00 pm.
