About the Mission:

Patriot Guard Riders has been invited to stand in silent honor of the life and service of SSG Bryan M. Faison. SSgt Faison of the United States Army, a life-long Beacon resident, passed away suddenly on June 17, 2022 in the Country of Brunei while serving on active-duty. He was 36 years old.

Born in Poughkeepsie, NY, Bryan was a graduate of Beacon High School (class of 2004) and earned a degree in Applied Sciences at Hudson Valley Community College. He enlisted in the United States Army on March 24, 2014, and proudly served until his passing. For his service, the United States Army awarded him with the Army Commendation Medal with two Oak Leaf Clusters, Army Achievement Medal, and the Army Good Conduct Medal with two knots (2nd award).

Aside from serving his country, Bryan had a passion for photography. He loved football and was an avid San Francisco 49-ers fan. He also enjoyed hiking, baseball, and loved being at the beach with his wife and children.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: NYS Guidelines of 2 March 2022, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.


Special Information:

Staging at the church with a flag line for the arrival of the funeral cortege. Family and friends will gather at the church from 10:00 - 11:00 am. A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held at 11 am, followed by interment with full-military honors at the Fishkill Rural Cemetery, 801 Route 9, Fishkill, NY.
