Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Updated 8 March 2022

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Special Information:

At 5:30 pm PGR Members will form a flag line for the arrival of the family at the Federal Express facility. The family is expected to arrive at approximately 5:45 pm. At 6:00 pm, PGR Members will reform the flag line on the tarmac outside the FedEx facility for the arrival of the flight. The flight is expected to arrive at 6:23 pm.  PGR Members will perform a dignified transfer of Mr. Taylor's remains from the flight to the hearse.  At present, the mission is expected to end once the hearse has left the airport.

There is a possibility that the family will ask us to escort the cortege or run ahead to the funeral home to perform a dignified transfer there. We will find this out at the FedEx facility on Friday.  Please be prepared with a clean 3x5 American or US Marine Corps flag, and dress for the weather (the current forecast is for cool and rainy weather).

Please do what you can to attend this short-notice mission to honor Mr. Taylor's service and support his loving family.
