About the Mission:

The Syracuse Honor Flight organizers have requested the participation of Patriot Guard Riders in the sendoff and welcome home events for veterans traveling to Washington DC as part of the Honor Flight Network. Please do your best to participate in this mission. It is important that Patriot Guard Riders demonstrate to our veterans that they have never been forgotten.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Updated 8 March 2022

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: NYS Guidelines of 2 March 2022, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Special Information:

UPDATED -  There is a change for parking this time. All will park on the top floor ( roof ) of the parking garage. It has been cleared for re-paving next week. You will pull a ticket and a volunteer will affix a sticker on it. When leaving, you will exit thru the far right booth. There will be a volunteer there as well, and they should have stickers should you not get one when you pull in ( possibly as we are arriving earlier then the participants ) -  Bruce

We will stage morning and night at the same location and go up as a group. All must be there in the morning by 04:30 sharp to go thru TSA.

PLEASE NOTE:  I will need three things from each individual;  1. Your name as it appears on your drivers license, 2. Your date of birth,  and 3. Which flight you will attend, am pm or both. If I don't have this info I will be unable to get you a gate pass. The cut off for this will be 8 pm on Wednesday the 21st.  Please send this info to me at my email address;

Also, please have a mask with you in case they are having us wear one near the vets as we did last time.
