About the Mission:

The family of Richard H. Liebrecht has requested Patriot Guard Riders to participate in honoring his life and service. Mr. Liebrecht of Lancaster, NY passed away on 17 January 2023.

Mr. Liebrecht served our nation for 2 years on active duty in the US Army Armor Branch from 1958-1960, with an Army MOS of 112.00-Heavy Weapons Infantryman. He was stationed at Fort George G. Meade, Maryland, and he was honorably discharged from active duty on 10 November 1960 with the rank of Private First Class. Mr. Liebrecht earned the Army Good Conduct Medal and Cold War Service Medal.

Mr. Liebrecht served honorably in the Buffalo Fire Department for 31 years from 1967-1998.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.


Special Information:

PGR will stage with a respectful flag line for arrival of the family, and during the calling hours from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM. The funeral service is scheduled for 12:00 PM.  Following the dignified transfer, PGR will escort to St. Adalbert Cemetery (Mausoleum), 6200 Broadway (Rt. 20), Lancaster, NY 14086 for the interment with Military Honors.
