About the Mission:
The family of Mr. Anthony J. "Tony" Pagano has asked PGR to help honor his life and service to America during his funeral. Mr. Pagano passed away December 23, 2022 at the age of 82.
Mr. Pagano was a US Army, Vietnam Era and Cold War Veteran. He served two years from 1962-1964, with one year and one month of foreign service in Europe. Mr. Pagano achieved the rank of Specialist 4 (E-4) with an MOS of 941.10 (new MOS 92G), Culinary Specialist. He served in Company B, 1st Battalion, 41st Infantry, 4th Army out of Fort Hood, TX.
Mr. Pagano earned: US Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Cold War Service Medal, Expert Qualification Badge - M60 Machine Gun, Marksman Qualification Badge - Pistol.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
PGR will stage at 8:30am in preparation for Mr. Pagano's services. We will form a respectful flag line for the arrival of the family, expected at approximately 9:00am. We will continue to stand the flag line for arriving mourners until services begin at 9:30am. Following services, PGR members will perform a dignified transfer. With the dignified transfer complete, PGR members will go to the cemetery for the second phase of the services. Some members may escort the procession while others go ahead of the cortege.

Please be prepared with a clean 3x5 American or US Army flag, and dress for the weather. The current forecast calls for temperatures in the low 50s with a slight chance of precipitation.
Please set aside some time to attend all or a portion of these short notice services to honor Mr. Pagano's service to America and support his loving family.

Second Stage - Special Information:
PGR members will form a respectful flag line for the arrival of the cortege at the gravesite. The Cortege is expected to arrive between 10:45am and 11:00am. Services, including military honors, are expected to begin at 11:00am. Following services, PGR members will perform a final salute for Mr. Pagano.
