Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Updated 8 March 2022

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Special Information:

Patriot Guard Riders members will form a flag line for the arrival of the family at the church. I expect the family to arrive at approximately 1:30 pm.  PGR members will then continue the flag line for arriving mourners until approximately 2:00pm when church services will begin. Following services, PGR members will perform a dignified transfer to the family coach.
Some PGR members may escort the procession from the church to the Palmyra Moose Lodge (less than one mile) where the family will be holding a celebration of life. Other members will go ahead to the Moose Lodge and form a flag line for the arrival of the cortege.

Please be prepared with a clean 3x5 American or US Army flag, dress for the weather (current forecast is for temperatures in the 40s and little chance of rain), and ensure your large flags are securely attached.

Thank you for devoting your time to help honor the US Army service of Richard Jackson, and to support his loving family.
