About the Mission:

The family of US Army Veteran Patrick Michael Murray has requested Patriot Guard Riders presence to stand an honorable flag line at his interment with military honors services.  Patrick passed on February 8, 2023 at the age of 53.

Patrick served as a Cavalry Scout during the Bosnian War with the United States Army, 1st Battalion, 18th Infantry Regiment. He was honorably discharged, attaining the rank of Sergeant (E5).  For his service, he was awarded the Army Achievement Medal, Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Service Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon and the NATO Service Medal.

He was an Operations Manager at AAFES-Army and Air Force Exchange Services, and a former member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Special Information:

Please meet at the interment shelter and form an honorable flagline for the arrival of family and guests.  Interment service with military honors schedued for 1:00 pm. Please arrive on time with an American or US Army flag.
