About the Mission:
The family of Jeffery A. Carlson of East Bethany, NY has requested PGRNY to participate in honoring his life and service. Mr. Carlson passed away on 25 August 2022.
Mr. Carlson served our nation for 1 year, 9 months on active duty in the US Army from 1971-1972, with an Army MOS of 13A2P-Field Artillery Basic Paratrooper. He had 15 months of foreign service in Germany, assigned to the Headquarters & Headquarters Battery, 1st Battalion, 83rd Field Artillery. Mr. Carlson was honorably discharged from active duty on 16 October 1972 with the rank of Specialist 4th Class (E-4). He earned the National Defense Service Medal, Parachutist Badge, M-16 Rifle Expert Badge, and Cold War Service Medal.

Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
PGR will assemble with a respectful flag line for the family's arrival. Following the dignified transfer, KSU at 12:15 PM for the escort to the WNY National Cemetery, 1254 Indian Falls Rd, Corfu, NY 14036 for the 1:00 PM interment with Military Honors. Please be prepared with a clean 3x5 American or US Army flag, dress for the weather, and ensure your large flags are securely attached for the 12-mile escort.
