About the Mission:

The family of George James Pechie has invited Patriot Guard Riders to participate in his military honors funeral services.   George, 80, passed peacefully surrounded by his family January 24, 2023.

George served our country honorably for 8 years in the US Army, attaining the rank of Corproal.  He was a proud to be a veteran and supported all veterans needs.  He retired from Kodak after 29 years as a foreman. Over the years he enjoyed bowling, golf, Nascar, football, but mostly loved playing casino slot machines.  The deceased is a relative of Mike Conway, fellow PGR Member.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Special Information:

Please join me in standing an honorable flag line for the arrival of guests at the church service and transfer of his remains into the church. We will then stand for transfer to hearse and provide an escort to the cemetery where he will receive a full military honors burial.

Please do what you can to provide an honorable send off for this veteran.  The weather looks to be very cold so dress accordingly. Bring your clean 3x5 American or Army flag. If you have flags or signage for your vehicle please bring that as well for the escort.
